UNLISTED REVERSE TYPE. RIC lists this type for Constantine I only [LONDON 132] (p. 105). For Crispus' and Constantine's II Principia coins another variant of reverse is exclusively attested: prince helmeted and leaning on reversed spear, l. hand resting on shield (see picture 135 on plate 1). Note that in Bourton Hoard such variant is also listed for Constantine I (no. 1454). It could be a hybrid, but the present specimen makes this hypothesis less probable. Coin should be listed after LONDON 135.
